The Beginning

Welcome to my blog.  I think I will call it Jody's Journey..  Let me begin by giving an outline of what I would like to include in this endeavor. 

First of all, I think it’s always nice to get an inspirational thought.  While my thoughts may not be as inspirational as some great servant of God, they are nonetheless something God has given me that might be of help to someone else.  I would like to share those with others.  Perhaps some day someone will also be encouraged like I have been. 

Secondly, I would like to include some of my daily activities.  These may be hum drum and mundane.  I leave these for those who come after as an insight of life in this time.  I think it’s interesting to see how others have lived, what their interests were, and how things change over time. 

Finally, I would like to include some past memory.  I have in my possession a book of memories my mother wrote down.  These are stories of things she remembered from her life a child and family happenings.  How I wish she had written more!  I will apologize to my children, Melinda, Shannon, Mark, and David, for those embarrassing things I might pen here.  I may need to extend that to Freddy, grandchildren, friends, in-laws, and others.  It could be that no one is safe here.
